Details
Waggon and Horses is an Inn located in Stocksbridge. Comfortable and relaxing inn built in 1809, in a most scenic location. Langsett is on the edge of Pennine Yorkshire, the Peak District National Park and Derbyshire, making it an excellent base for touring the area. But it is for walking that Langsett is best famed - anything from a 2 mile wander to a 14 mile bog trotting challenge. Traditional country pub ambience, a popular spot for Sunday luncheon, with a reputation for having some of the best meat and potato and billberry pies in Yorkshire. Very well kept ales. Smashing rooms with good sized individually designed interiors. Ideal location for small conferences and business meetings. Within reasonable distance of the major cities (Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield) and motorways of the north.
